It wasn't supposed to happen, but it did. She wasn't supposed to feel like this, but she can't seem to stop it. She wasn't supposed to taste like that, but the taste of her lips, far too sweet and luscious for such a butch, still lingers on Blanche's lips. She was supposed to be a cold fish, but the passion that sparked between them last night still has Blanche's head whirling.
She blames it on the liquor. She blames it on the cheesecake. She blames it on her own self feeling too lonely and too used as she'd actually had one of those rare occasions where she was stood up. She blames it on Dorothy, pretending to be one way and then acting, touching, and tasting entirely another way. She blames it on the full moon. But whatever she blames it on, Dorothy is still on her mind.
She sashays up to her date, grabs his head in her hands, and kisses him long and deep. "Damn," she mutters afterward, touching her lips. He grins, but he has no idea of the problem. It was only supposed to be a stupid experiment, not change her life forever, and Blanche won't it. She may have to kiss every man in Atlanta, but she'll get Dorothy out of her system!
