Summary: The art of cutting fruit.
The assortment of fruit lay intricately aligned on one big plate on the table. First there was the bananas, peeled and cut, the oranges, unpeeled, apples, red and green, and finally watermelon, sliced into uniformly sized pieces.
For once, Yuffie wasn't bouncing around like an overly excited dog, yipping at peoples' feet. She felt calm, somehow, the smell of the fruit thick in the kitchen.
"So, what's next?" Yuffie asks Aerith eagerly.
"Well," Aerith starts, turning to face her, her voice soft. "we'll leave the apples be, since some people prefer one color over the other, but now we can peel the oranges, but not all of them."
"Is that all you do to make a fruit salad, then?" Yuffie inquires.
"Pretty much, yes," Aerith replies, grabbing the peeler, "and since we'll be using the apples seperately, we'll probably added in some melon to make up for them."
"Sounds yummy."
