pirateygoodness kind of got it all with the quietly endearing and the awesome talking heads, but come on. Pam and the JGar movie and the pitch-perfect Karen and did I mention the awesome talking heads? So much word to this fic.

that was gorgeous! beautifully written with such a light touch. you can just skim over it as you read it but it's all got layers. love it. and it was funny. the beginning logic problem was my favourite - made me laugh. the dialogue throughout is so frothy and excellent. and the ending made me feel I might have told you my life story once too often. ;) seriously. um... that happened to me. huh.

“You know, I always thought that if you were going to leave Roy, it would be for me.”

what a sucker punch. great.

you got your great line in at the end! PERFECT.

and dude, this was AWESOME. seriously, wonderful. i mean, i don't know the show terribly well, but the voices were just spot on, and it was so... it was so office-y, in that it was... it's like the office always looks at things obliquely. there's never a direct observation (not even, really, in the talking heads), there's always looking sideways and leaving things unsaid. the ridiculousness of things covering the seriousness of everything, and your story perfectly encompasses that -- the important things buried just under the surface.

beautiful! YAY!

also, YAY FOR TOMORROW!

Aww! This is wonderful. Pam is steely-sweet, and I love her asides to the camera.
