OMG YAY! I have long craved S1 Starbuck/Dualla, and here it is! I love how fragmented it feels, in parts, because it fits perfectly with the chaos of that specific time period. And also:

Dee follows the line of her neck, the curve of her shoulder to her collarbone to the line of clinging Fleet-issue clothes almost black with water.

Guh.

Oh, squee! I'm so glad you like it. I've never written BSG before but I loved this pairing idea. I'm glad that the style came over well - I meant it to be a bit chaotic and a bit rushed and what-the-hell type of thing between them, so, in conclusion, you know, yay. :)

(And yeah, I have to say when I came up with that image in my head... yeah. Guh is right. ;)

Thanks! As I said in a comment above, I really wanted to try and get that slightly disconnected chaotic style going, because it's really so integral to the early episodes, so I'm glad it seems to have worked.
