I have a thing for snarky bastards and morally ambiguous boys.
So after pushing myself probably a bit too much the past month and a half, now that I have a bit of a breather, what does my body decide to do? Bah.
I came home from work today, and the moment ze_dragon saw me she ordered me to bed. Which I argued over, but, long story short, I've slept for a bit tonight off and on and I'm about to head to sleep again very soon because I feel like utter crap.
BUT. First.
I seem to have, as of late and primarily due to my roommate's habit of watching it every week (*eyes ze_dragon balefully*), fallen in love with House. I tried to resist. I really did. Despite everyone telling me, oh, you'll love House. He's a cranky misanthrope. Right up your alley! No, no, I said. I have no interest. I have one cranky misanthrope already that I love passionately. I do not need another, and no one can compare to my snarky, greasy git bastard. No one.
And then I found out that not only was there a cranky misanthrope, but there was also a floppy-haired, sarcastic, ethically flexible, looking-out-for-himself, ass-kissing boy.
Dammit. That combination? All my base are belong to it. Resistance is futile. And so on and so forth. Shut up. I have incredibly specific character types, I know.
So, yeah, now I'm completely caught up on four and a half seasons, and I'm jonesing for some House/Chase. Like pretty badly. Especially since I have a sneaky feeling I'm going to be staying in bed all day tomorrow. Does anyone maybe, perhaps, happen to have any recs or know where a House/Chase rec list is? I've found house_chase and house_slash and chase_fic to sift through but I'd rather read from a rec list if possible...
Also, I think bethbethbeth just persuaded me to try Sanctuary in one sentence.
