Okay, so we all know that I'm a huge Old 97s dork, right? Right. I think that's pretty much established around here. Well, the video for their latest single was released today.

Tricia Helfer. Kevin Smith-ish fanboys in Frack Me t-shirts throwing people down stairs. Old 97s. What more can you ask for? I love these guys. They are such dorks.

Also, I have been in two--count them, two--restaurants within the past week where they've played the Old 97s Murder (Or A Heart Attack) as background music which amuses me while at the same time bemuses me because, dude, it's like not very often I hear them played in public and that's an older song of theirs, but hey I'm so not complaining because the Old 97s are the most awesomecakes band ever and EVERYBODY should listen to them, I say.
Ergo,
I give you the live version of Murder (Or A Heart Attack). Enjoy.
(Trufax, this seeming-to-be-a-love-song is actually about Rhett Miller losing his cat Charlie. It would have had another verse, but Charlie came back. *snort*)
