Popping in before collapsing into bed to post pointers to two fics I've written recently and give a rec to another someone brilliantly wrote for me. :)

The first fic I wrote was written for the hp_beholder fest on InsaneJournal. But before I mention it, I have to say that the fic written for me by bluestocking79 is abso-bloody-lutely brilliant and should be ( Read more... )

Congratulations, Team Epilogue won, and it's well-deserved.

Your story was rec'd by one of my flist and she vouched that it's really good & when I read the summary, ah, it reads angst and erotica to me. My cup of tea. It's a well written fic, made me feel for all the characters, including bastard Harry. Believe me, it's hard for me to read this type of fic (Harry cheating on Ginny, & the kids getting affected). How you'd written the H/D pron... fans self. Bottom line, you'd made me believe that it'll eventually all work out for the best. Not making Ginny the cause of the marriage breakdown, for me is a plus factor. You had my vote, your slash story rocks. And now I'm off to read some of your fics. Hope you don't mind me friending you. I want to get updates on your latest fics/endeavors.

Hello ! I've read one or two of your stories before and they always left me full of bustling emotions. They were nothing compare to this one. I saw several recs lately because of all these fanfiction-games. I read all there's to read at the Snarry-Games - I'm not into Harry/Draco these days- but when I saw your name and your summary (really to the point) I couldn't shut the page. So I just finished reading it and I think I'll read it again once I'm on holidays, so I can read it once gain without rush. I love stories about fathers that are doing all they can for the happiness of their children. And here it was really well done. There are so much really good information and many details for what concerns Harry's job, Kingsley was woww and I fell in love with your adult Ron. At first I was somewhat surprised that so many members of his family turner theirs backs on him but it was hardly surprising and you made this believable. I don't know much about adultery and homosexuality when it's waved in it, but I reckon their reactions are *real ( ... )

I kind of have to be in bed. And my wrist is fucked up and fucking killing me, so this will be short.

But. In relation to Take A Sad Song (And Make It Better), I want to congratulate you on a really fucking excellent - and harsh, but very accurate - depiction of divorce. Divorce with kids, rather. Nothing fucks you up more.

I shall expand on this more when I come back :)

I just finished Take a Sad Song, and all I can say is WOW! You absolutely nailed the raw emotions that divorce brings as well as the conflict between everyone involved. I loved the characterizations of the kids and their struggles adjusting to their parents split. The reactions were very real. I have to admit that I cried when Godric's body was carried out of Harry's flat. Poor little thing. The relationship that developed between Harry and Draco was fantastic. I would love to read more of the two of them together. Great story and one that I'm definitely saving in my Favorite HP Fanfics folder.
