Right. So.

SA/LJ still hasn't answered (or acknowledged) my questions that I've submitted via comments, an open letter, and an email with the link to my open letter post. However, violet_quill got a private response from support regarding her question about linking to off-site-hosted materials that violate LJ's TOS.

As in yes, your account may very well face suspension if you post a link to any material--ANY MATERIAL--that is prohibited despite the fact that said material is not hosted on Livejournal's servers and therefore they are not liable for it. And before you go, whoa, great, let's get rid of the HP porn finally, you might want to stop and think about how that can affect, say, academic or political posts which wish to link to sites that contain, oh say, threats to the President. Which, like underage fanart is prohibited and a suspension offense. Just saying.

And bandom? How long do you think it's going to be before RPS becomes objectionable to LJ? Think about it. It only takes one threat of a lawsuit.
