Title: Not My Type
Rating: G
Word Count: 145
Pairing: Mick/Beth
Disclaimer: If you recognize it, it ain't mine.
Spoilers: Minor spoiler for the last episode if you haven't seen it. But it's not anything major.
Author's Note: Takes place during the car ride in Doctor Feelgood. It's a very short little ficlet. I'd call it a drabble, but it's over 100 words, and I'd rather not get flamed over that. ;) But please, feel free to leave me a comment and tell me what you thought.
Warning: If you don't like puns, this isn't the story for you.
“So, you like, bite people, and suck out their blood?” Beth asked as she held a hand up to cover her throat.
Mick quickly glanced at her out of the corner of his eye, and sighed.
She had surprised him. She was taking the news fairly well, with only a minimal amount of what Josef called, the “ick factor”.
“Some vamps do. But personally, I don’t. So you have nothing to worry about.”
He smiled as she visibly relaxed and dropped her hand.
“Good,” she said through her nervous laughter.
Mick chuckled as he shifted in his seat.
“Besides, you’re not my type.”
More amused than shocked, Beth turned so that she was facing him. “Just what does that mean?”
“Just that. You’re not my type.”
“What?” Beth continued, her curiosity piqued, now. “Blonde? Intelligent? Inquisitive? Female?”
Without missing a beat he said, “Nope. AO-.”
