pretty boy eyelashes are my kryptonite

So last night in my restless insomnia I found myself musing about Spike's eyebrow scar and its origin. Yes, yes, I know about James Marsters' scar (mugging, NYC, blah blah) but that's not what I'm interested in. Since sometimes canon and fanon get mixed up in my head, I'm not sure if it was ever explained in canon. But it would have had to have happened to William, yes? Because otherwise it just would have healed away. Right? (rahirah, you're the deep ponderer of vampire physiology. Help me out here.) Finally I just had to tell myself bedtime stories about Spike and Buffy in the bathtub--almost as good as Valierian root.

Anyway, all I'm sayin' is that could be a fan wank story.

Had a Hugh Grant-athon last night post-Ethiopian food and pints of beer. My friend and I decided that we're all right with what it says about us that we both honed right in on the flicks where he's a Bad Bad Man (Bridget Jones and About a Boy).

And then today we've been "aggressively lounging" some more and watching Bend It Like Beckham. (No, Brits, we are NOT fetishizing your country, really.) I love that movie, though it confuses my femslashing self with the simultaneous combination of girl!jocks in locker rooms and the NON-STOP Jonathan Rhys Meyers lip-biting porn, faggy walking porn, smoldering gaze porn, sitting porn, and of course NOSE KISSING, OMG![/lusty]

Dykey taste in men? That is me. Heh.

greenapricot, why don't I have any JRM icons? Hook me up.

ETA: So my forgetfulness has been remedied--I've been reminded about the scar-acquiring in "Fool for Love." Didn't Drusilla lick it or something?
How could I have forgotten that? 'Cause, um, that was pretty hot. But that still really doesn't make sense to me that it wouldn't have healed. I mean, shouldn't he be riddled with over a century's worth of combat scars, then? Ah well. We already knew that such things can go fast and loose in the Jossverse.

what femme did, pretty boys, lusty thoughts, spike
