miscellany, i.e. stuff and nonsense (and Anglophilia, apparently)
One of my students is writing a paper about Daniel Radcliffe - I'm finding it rather difficult not to reveal my inappropriate fangirling of him. Oh well. He's gonna be on Inside the Actor's Studio next week (fodian, FYI). Whee! [Also, the tally is now up to three of my students with apparent "fannish" affiliations, i.e. unidentified slash reading, and writing of papers for Slayage and/or N'Sync Mary Sue fics.]
Belated Lost in Austen opinion: I might have liked it better if there was more Elizabeth Bennett-in-the-present and she had a more exciting job. Also, if it had explored the meta possibilities more instead of turning into an (arguably regressive), muddled self-insert fantasy.
Unrelated, why should I watch Merlin? [Not that I have time.]
Also unrelated, which are the best Tegan & Sara albums, do you think?
Argh, maybe I should suck it up and restore my paid account/icons even though I hardly ever post "content" anymore, really - I'm longing for my DanRad icon with the umbrella.
Eventually I am going to write Atonement fic and like two of you will read it. *knock on wood*
