i really love music. so much.
one of the most difficult questions to answer is definitely whether i'd rather be blind or deaf. if i were deaf, i'd at least be able to see people's faces, people's expressions, colors, pictures... so much of what we see effects how we are. but i wouldn't be able to listen to music - i couldn't hear the intonation in someone's voice when they were speaking to me, i couldn't sing, i couldn't speak. it's very difficult to give all that up just to be able to see. i'm thankful that i don't have to make that decision, so for the time being i'm going to make the most of being able to see and hear...

What in the body's tomb doth buried lie
Is boundless; 'tis the spirit of the sky,
Lord of the future, guardian of the past,
And soon must forth, to know his own at last.
In his large life to live, I fain would die.
Happy the dumb beast, hungering for food,
But calling not his suffering his own;
