A flourishy entrance!

Hello All!
I've been meaning to get back into blogging.  I will say that it has been at LEAST two years since I've committed anything to livejournal and I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.
What should you expect from me in this journal?
1.Well, hopefully documentation of most of the crafts that I work on.  I try to take pictures of EVERYTHING (mostly because I end up giving away what I've created and I never see it again...boo.)
2.  I have drama.  (Who doesn't?) I've learned recently that I really need a place to vent and not feel judged.  So, I apologize in advance for my more ranty moments.
3.  There will be times when curiosity gets the better of me and I may ask some really odd questions that I really do want public responses to...Things I can't ask people face to face because it might be embarrassing/too personal, etc.  So, please feel free to answer honestly!
And now for some actual content!
Today I am Casino Girl...which sounds much more exciting than it actually is.  I work for a private banking company that supplies the funds/bankers for California-run casinos.  I don't know how much is known about wacky California casinos, but here's a brief run down:
California has two types of casinos.  There are the Indian-run casinos, which are Vegas-style casinos with cards, slots, and such.  They are run on Indian reservations, therefore they are not in California's jurisdiction.  In the Indian casinos, you bet against the house and the house either wins or loses.
California-run casinos do not have slots and there is no "house" to bet against. They are considered "Card clubs" and I like to think of them more as a fair-ground type of gaming...with Poker!  Because there is no "house" and the casino neither wins nor loses in the games, they gain their money by charging a $1 fee for each bet (see how the fair-ground idea works?  It's like paying $1 for a ring-toss)  So how do they handle the money? You ask.  (Well, of course you're not really asking that because I've already answered that question.)  They hire a private banking company that supplies the funds and the bankers who monitor each table/game that goes on at the casino.
I am one of the people behind all that.  The particular gaming company that I work for has TWO WHOLE EMPLOYEES! (Besides the owner) And the only reason we have two employees is because the ONE employee that was handling everything got overwhelmed about three months ago and begged the owner to let her hire an assistant.  C'est moi!
Interesting, n'est-ce pas?  No....okay. :D
Actually, my day ends in about two minutes, so I can't sit here and chat
