*Del's found a gym/dojo in the City, and in the interest of working off the emotions that she can't untangle--or at least working herself into exhaustion so that she can finally rest--she's clearly been practicing. Her iPod headphones are in, and Del is alternately pounding away at a punching bag, or doing katas on the large mat.*

*And Del comes trotting up, a small duffel bag--everything she was practicing with is in it--slung over one shoulder. Lifts her hand lightly in greeting.* Hope you weren't waiting too long... I tried to hurry.

*Follows after a moment, and can't help but smile a little* This is familiar. There's a ton and a half of these back home.

[He looks back at her, a somewhat surprised expression on his face] There are a ton of McDonald's in your time period?! How awesome! I knew that they would spread throughout my country!

*blinkblink, slow nod. 'Time period,' oh boy.* There are a lot of fast food places. Especially in the big cities like New York. It's quick and cheap, so they're pretty popular places.

*Oh Alfred. She's just going to lightly shake her head and sigh a little* It's got some competition, but I suppose that is correct. I think it's worldwide, but don't quote me on that.

I'm going to order twenty hamburgers, how about you?

*BLINK* T-twenty? You're going to eat that many? *Hang on, you just got her brain stuck.* That's.... a lot. Aren't you worried about any of the less than healthy side-effects?

*She, unlike him, has to study the menu. Oh boy.*

Don't worry, I do plenty of exercise afterwords! I always keep my body in top shape!

*Alfred, you make her head hurt. But it's a good distraction.* Well... that's good. A lot of people don't do that. *thoughtful pause* Though I suppose I shouldn't make an assumption like that.

How many hamburgers do you want?! You can also get twenty with me and we'll have an eating contest!

*that manages to get a smile from her.* I don't think I can eat twenty. I'd be sick if I tried! I'll just... have a double cheeseburger and large fries.

*And you would never believe how bad she feels about eating less-than-healthy food. She's been trying to resist it for a while now.*
