NCIS. Abby/Kate. Clock.
The ticking of the clock marks our lives passing together.
Abby Scuito was glad to see Kate sleeping. Abby wore only a simple nightshirt and her black hair was loose, out of her blue eyes. She knew the exact colour of Kate’s eyes but she was more interested in watching her sleep.
Kate Todd slept on in silence. Her brown hair was sleep-mussed but neat, her rest completely relaxed.
Both Abby and Kate slept after a while, the clock’s ticking the only sound in the room… slowly counting down the hours.
