Chapter 5: The download.
The panic had subsided by the time the group of cylons entered the downloading bay. D’Anna had automatically allowed Lesley to settle near the head of the pool as she knew that once Kathleen realised what had happened she would need to have some help calming back down. D’Anna settled into place nearby and watched as the rest settled into place.
Once Kathleen’s consciousness had settled her eyes began to flicker before opening, the woman’s fear showing in her eyes even before she began to shiver and cry… her gaze flickered around the room before settling on Lesley’s soft smile and warm brown-blue eyes.
“You came?”
“Of course I came…”
“I thought…”
“You thought wrong.”
A slow and steady smile spread across Kathleen’s face as she realised exactly what that meant for her relationship with Lesley. Still she was a little worried about their relationship and what could happen to them both.
