Chapter 3: Between two worlds.
The first major fire-fight between the cylons and the humans had been small enough to not have many casualties but it was bad enough that people realised the need for both sides to work on gaining peace between the two races. Several cylons had already taken human lovers but those who hadn’t didn’t seem to mind the idea of it even if they hadn’t yet chosen their life partner.
Many had been amazed by how easily the two sides got along even if there were a few who refused to live with the other side in peace.
People had noticed that some of the humans chose within their own race and some of the cylons did the same thing.
The two sides had worked hard to settle on the worlds of Caprica and New Caprica and work out a deal for peace.
Both sides had nominated their side a spokesperson and both had been sure that their spokesperson would manage to get them a fair deal.
The cylons had agreed that they would send D’Anna to meet with whoever the humans chose. The humans had decided to send Laura Roslin as Laura had always proved to be a good diplomat and a smart bargain maker.
As time passed slowly, the first few days soon turning into a week then two, the two weeks slowly yielding results mostly small but over the time the two sides grew used to each other and slowly stopped fighting.
