“Hide me… please…”
Isabella’s bruises were obvious in the dappled sunlight of the forest and she appeared to be shaking painfully.
“What’s going on? Who hurt you?”
“Please just hide me…”
Jadzia paused to think then agreed. “Alright, come with me…” She was sure the woman had somehow been dropped through a space disturbance and ended up in the middle of Quark’s.
The two walked the short distance to Jadzia’s crew quarters in silence, Isabella’s hand slipping into Jadzia’s, seeking comfort. The two had stood face to face in Jadzia’s quarters, still holding hands, Isabella still shaking just a little.
“Are you alright?”
“I’m not sure, where am I?”
“My quarters.”
