The stakeout had been passed around most of the team before Elle agreed to do it. She had asked JJ to go with her. JJ had agreed within seconds.
“Thank you for coming on this stakeout JJ.”
“You know I couldn’t sleep without you anyway.”
“I know but back home we have stuff to do.”
“I’ve never been on a stakeout.” JJ admitted with a cheeky grin. “I wanted to know what it’s like.”
Elle had laughed at that one. “Okay, fair enough.”
JJ smirked. “Besides, when on the stakeout we’re alone.”
