Merry Christmas everyone
Hey, Merry Christmas my fellow friends, sixies, pals, well-wishers and gang
I am in Christmas withdrawl. No more Victoria. No more more christmas's with Oma and Opa or Grandpa and Grandma. Oma fell AGAIN (she fell twice already and broke her hip). It was serious enough to be put in the hospital. All dad knows is she is "Unresponsive" ): Plus they are too old to make their yummy christmas dinner on Christmas Eve...or light candles on an actual cedar tree.
As before mentioned, Grandma has a lump in her stomach, she is waiting for some scan results to come back. Most likely they will have to operate. They sold their house, so no more being woken up at 6:00 in the morning for breakfast and gifts, followed by Grandpa playing the Organ, and all the relatives visiting.
But enough of the sad. Last night Steve, I, Emily, Tyler, Mom, and Dad all got together at the house and had some mulled wine and desserts (I actually made German cookies with my mom..GO ME!) We all were very hyper, needless to say.
Christmas day we got together, opened presents, and had crepes with peaches...mmmm. I got Dad the Tragically Hip complilation (Hipopotemous), Emily the Hitchhikers compilation book, and Mom a REAL Orchid (inside joke). I think they really liked their gifts.

We then had an awesome turkey dinner and settled down quietly to watch Fargo. hahaha Woodchipper.
All in all it may not have been like the old days I miss, but it was still relaxing.
