I suggest you all watch "Goodbye Lenin!"
Wonderful movie about a boy and his extremely socialist mother in East Berlin. Said mother has a heartattack and falls into a comma just before the fall of the Berlin wall. While she sleeps, the wall falls and western capitilism takes over Germany. After 18 months mom wakes up. Meanwhile, the world around her has changed drastically.
The add to that, her doctor warns her son that any little shock could bring on a final heart attack: and they must advoid exciting her at any cost. The boy's answer to this? Re-make the house back to the pre-revolution days, and try and build her a world just like it was before.
To make it even better: Movie is in German with subtitles :D
