JR is my buddy from Eugene, OR. The one I can't get to commit to moving to Portland with me...though I think I'm slowly weakening his will, hahaha.
Jon is a GREAT photographer (check his stuff out at jrenich.com), but the photographer I was referring to recently would be Sean Cote...another amazing artist. Sean is the "purist". He'll argue all day long about how pop-art isn't art, and how most of my colors combinations don't fit into this crazy color diagram he carries around in his head. He's amazing though and in love with my sister. It will be good to finally have him in the family...if all goes well.
Sean actually goes to school in Chicago, so you can't meet him until Thanksgiving. Most of my favorite people don't even live in Detroit. A few do, but the smart one's escape, hahaha.
You need to meet Ian North. He's an Ann Arbor guy.

yep. I scan my photos. I usually have them printed with black borders, hence the uneven borders on some of these.
