Ooops, forgot
Forgot some things yesterday...the mu..izi is the kind of wine, like cabernet sauvignon, merlot, etc. The brand is Telavi or something like that, with more I's. I think it's an expensive wine. Going to go check out wine prices after work. But I'm telling you all, it's red wine coming from 4000 miles away on a former soviet airline. If I get red wine all over my clothes, *somebody* will pay. Or if all my luggage gets lost, nobody will be getting *anything*.
Also, wenrt to the state art museum on Sunday. On the second floor they have lots of European art, including, in the bback a 13th c. painter, Duccio maybe. Anyway, so it was an altarpiece of Madona & child and way in the back, and out of sight of the "guard." So an elderly woman comes up to it, crosses herself, and kisses the altarpiece. Really, really strange to see in a museum setting. You can add your own commentary about the power of icons, etc.
