doggie update
Butchy walked 6 blocks today (5 yesterday, 3 days before) and probably could have done more. I'm conserving her energy for a vet visit at 3 because she still refuses to eat even after anti-nausea pills. I know she is aware of the food; walks are sniff-plentiful, and she licks her chops after smelling food. Yesterday I made her swallow some doggie smoothie I created, but that is not the way I want to ensure she has food. She is alert and will get up and see what I'm doing between long stints lying in the grass or inside on the wood laminate floor. Standard dog age charts put her at 78, while a more comprehensive calculation based on health and exercise factors claimed she is like a 56yo. I don't believe the more comprehensive one.
Although I am technically getting done what I must (office hours, class prep, meetings), I am lethargic and uninterested in interaction. I still will go into a higher gear Thursday for initial moving but for now I hermit when away from the office.
