wal mart is a pain in my ass
all of a sudden, every local wal-mart here has been proposed to be turned into a super wal-mart. WHAT THE FUCK!! let me just add, there are 4 wal-marts in what i consider to be my "local area". they are all within 50 miles of each other, all on routes 5&20 between canandaigua, ny and auburn, ny. auburn is already a supercenter. first i heard of this, last year i saw a petition in the waterloo store trying to show support to turn that one into a super center. next i heard, a few months ago, that canandaigua was definately transitioning. still word of mouth, nothing official that i've heard yet. and now, the latest, i read today that there was a meeting to oppose the proposed expansion of the geneva wal mart.
its time for me to renew my anti-wal-mart committment and vow once again to quit shopping there!
