so kids, i bought a new car... she's a '91 honda civic 4 door sedan with 197,000 miles, and a killer sound system. great for these here mountains. $1,000 cash and she's mine :) i ultimately decided to do it this way because the insurance on my prizm would have been double what i was paying for insurance in NY. and with a car payment on top of that, getting ready to go to massage school and getting ready to get a place of my own, that simply was out of the question.
