What a fantastic weekend.
The show Friday ran smoothly. I saw toooooooons of old faces. I got a zillllllion hugs and ass grabs.
All the bands were tights except for Set Ablaze, who can choke on a bigfatdick. Fucking assholes.
Saturday was the Vision show. I liked every band on the bill better than Vision. hahaha
Carpenter Ant was first. The lead singer is a fucking riot. He played the show with a helmet on and a banana board strapped to the mic. I picked up their split 7" with Air Conditioning. Thus completeing my CA vinyl collection. love those boys.
Next was Life set Struggle. Ubber good thrash/oldschool PR. Sang alot of songs about skating. Found out that theyre also from Toledo, and that theyre boys with Premonitions of war. weird. I picked up their 7" as well. good shit.
Cut the shit did just that. The lead singer had some of the best stage presence that I've seen in a long time. They did a badreligion cover which earned them brownie points in my book. I unfortunately didnt get any of their stuff booooo!!
Vision was late and it just so happened that 3/4 of the Spark were there. So Paul had them do a short set.
Fucking right. Jean Mills Society Torch also did a short set. I felt like I was fucking 16 again. They have a record coming out soon. SUPER JUICED FOR THAT. haaaa!
Vision played next. They played my jam anddd covered Stiff Little Fingers.
My Revenge was last. And I'm oh so glad that I stuck around to see them. They played a tight thrashy set. The guitarest was nicest enough to hook me up with their LP for only 5 bucks. thanks braaah
After the show we hit up the diner. Mary finally meet her Paddington bear. I went back to Seans. Got some cuddling in. Pastout. Slept all day yesterday. Watched some ninjaturtles. diner. pictionary. weeeeee!
