1. I'm sick of romance being shoehorned in for every female character, and even more than that I'm sick of romance storylines changing the woman (but not the man of course). All of a sudden even the most self-assured female character is shy and nervous and takes her cues from the man.

2. I'm tired of fridging. I'm okay with female characters dying, but not just to be plot points to create motivation for male characters. And especially when the female character has barely any characterization and is clearly there just for fridging purposes.

3. I'm tired of sex scenes, even in movies supposedly made for women, being filmed from a male gaze point of view.

4. I'm tired of main characters always being white, even when the story is actually about POCs. Especially when it is based on a true story.

5. I'm tired of movies always casting skinny, feminine women even in roles that call for something else. Particularly angry about the Wonder Woman casting right now. Why would you cast a model as a muscular, physically strong warrior woman?

6. I'm sick of there only being one female character. And if there are more, usually the others are demonized so there is only one good one. But mostly I want variety. I hate that extras and minor roles are generally mostly male. I hate the Smurfette principle so very much.

7. I hate that we don't see gay or bisexual characters unless the plot of the movie is about promoting gay rights. I'd like to see more randomly gay without it affecting the plot characters. And especially lots more bisexual characters because it doesn't happen often.

8. And, while we're at it, I'm sick of female characters being bisexual in name only just because it is male gazy but then ending up with a man. I'd like to see more bisexual characters end up with a same sex partner. I'd like to see more bisexual men. I'd like to see women's storylines not being all about being hot for men. Two women together is about their relationship, not about men finding it hot.

I'll probably come back with more, but this is all for now.
