This week, on FIFA Women's World Cup, Brasil has been eliminated after playing with the USA, and our girls are coming home. But that's okay, because no one cares.

Do you read the From A Left Wing blog? It's just great. The author is currently writing up the world cup and also deals with football from a feminist, anti-racist, anti-transphobic perspective, also quite strongly from an artistic/cultural perspective: http://fromaleftwing.blogspot.com

It makes me furious how women are treated in sport, particularly how they are sexualised. But the blogger above puts it best.
