teen magazine publishes a realistic article for once

carrotflowers12 originally posted this in a women's health community and gave me permission to crosspost the information. If the mods deem it okay, I'll edit with a link to the post, but for now I'll just include its contents. Nothing super-graphic behind the cut--a large diagram (illustration) and two small photos, but to be safe I'll label this NSFW.

This is friggin' amazing. A mainstream magazine using the word "vulva" and explaining what it means, addressing the issue of labial size and with photographs, explaining that your vagina is supposed to smell like vagina...these are basic things all girls should know, but often don't. Right on, Seventeen.

reproductive rights and health, not safe for work, sex and sexuality
