I am curious to see what you think of this issue.
A school in UK decides to ban skirts:
"Marilyn Warden, headteacher at Broadstone Middle School, argues that forcing girls out of skirts and into pants will eliminate discrimination based on gender."
Here is a different perspective from a woman who wore a uniform in school:
"To be honest, I'd make a bonfire out of the horrid garments. If I still had my old school skirt, I'd add it to the top of the pile."
And here is more about the possible court action:
"will argue sexual harassment and gender subordination in a court of law"
What do you think? Is this sexist? Is it targeting girls or striving for equality?
