Hooray for the new year!

I spent the strike of midnight in my father's lay-z-boy recliner watching "Everybody Loves Raymond" with Daddy and Dana. Then, when mom got finished with her makeup, we all went to Waffle House. It wasn't the most exciting of New Years celebrations, but then again, this has been one of the more stressful holidays in my life.

They say moving is ranked right up there with death and divorce as one of the most stressful life events.

Slept on my parents couch last night and woke up with a headache. Decided to leave Garden City around 8 last night out of boredom. Everything is all unpacked and in its place...just can't find my damn computer speaker adapter. Called Apt. 6 and they asked me to come to Statesboro, but I really needed to come here due to a complete lack of money. Mom and I are going grocery shopping today and later this afternoon, weather permitting, I'll go run with my dog...or rather I hope I can call him mine, and bring him back with me to Garden City later this month.

I'm so exhausted...and sore, possibly caused by running around like a madwoman moving, and by sleeping on a couch the past four nights or so. I was able to take a nap in my new bed in my new place yesterday afternoon and it was lovely! Hope I'll be able to wake up for work.

Oh, so I have the bitch parking space. I mean, at least it's better than parking down Lanier at Apt. 6 and walking back to Eagle Village, but yeah...it's a bitch. It's the first one by my building, but it's in such a place that if someone parks with a large truck behind me, I can't get out at all. I'm pretty good at maneuvering my way in, but man...I just hope that guy has to be at work before I do so I can leave also.

OK, lunch time with the parents.
