(no subject)
Upstairs in the Union trying to dodge J.'s weird former roommate. He's this non-traditional man from China--very nice, but very odd. Every time I run into him he gives me a gift. As much as I love gifts and surprises, I'm not friends enough with him for such treatment. Last time he gave me a shirt and two necklaces that he purchased for me while in the Virgin Islands this summer. He says that he is eternally grateful that I introduced him to campus when he first moved here. All I did was give him a campus map and tell him the best way to get to Wal-Mart. He's always in the Union, and I'm here quite often too...but usually if I don't go upstairs, I don't see him.
Well, I'm upstairs now.
I'm waiting on Bill. At 4 we have an appt. to meet with the people about J.'s bench. So far we've received a lot of interest but very little money--and time is running out!
A little stressed about my P&T teaching class. My teaching partner has let me down three times already. We've arranged to try and meet again today at 5. We'll see. If she doesn't make it...well...I guess first I need to talk to my professor. Then I'll just do the project by myself. Man I hate college group work--especially when it's this big!
