The Scarf
I had about 8-10 skeins of pretty blue yarn that I bought for a project about 3 years ago. I knitted the front of a top and never picked the damn thing up again. So, I find this yarn and look at it and say, "I know what I need! A huge scarf/shawl/lake-sized thing knit WITH EVERY SINGLE SKEIN! It'll be glorious and cozy and chic!"
Don't get me wrong- I like the scarf. I like the stitch I picked out, the color, the drape. It's even relaxing to knit.
I did, however, completely underestimate the size. It is HUGE. HUGE.
