I like how you slowly revealed the core of this story, the fragments that all lead to this one message of your prompt. All the energy built up and poured into this last sentence. Very neat.

You defined Hermione by contrast, by pitting her against all the people who didn't get what she was doing, and I enjoyed that, too. Everyone had different reasons for not understanding and therefore added another perspective on Hermione's motives.

I really enjoyed your portrait of Hermione. :-)
