I love Potts, and Everhart was a surprisingly nice counterpoint. You fleshed her out well without delving into an elaborate backstory, and I loved how you explained why she slept with Stark. One thing I didn't like about Potts in the movie was the way she seemed to judge Everhart, and I *really* didn't like how Everhart came across as a journalist who played at being serious but was ready to throw that out the window at the drop of a hat. This fic did a really good job of reconciling those issues for me. Fic that focuses on bonds between women is rare, especially from a movie laden with testosterone, and this fic did a very good job of it. :-D

Thank you! I really liked both Pepper and Christine in the movie, and was kind of peeved that their only scene together involved them being snotty to each other. So I fixed that. :-) I'm glad you enjoyed it.

This is just...great. I fail at feedback today, but this felt very much in-character for both of them, and I love the glimpses of a fleshed-out Marvel world outside the edges of the movie.

oh, lovely. i've been longing for some fic with these two since i saw the film, and i really loved the picture you painted here, especially the poet with the rumoured gills and christine keeping her shoes on at the hospital. really enjoyed it.

This was so much fun! I love that they bonded over literature, and I really love Sofia Bandawe and her rumored gills, and Pepper's refusal to carry a gun, and Christine's ambition to be a war correspondent.
