When did you first fall in love with Hip-Hop?
Yeah...I know that's the theme from "Brown Sugar"...lol.
I love hip-hop and probably will until the day I die. It hurts me to hear some of the crap that passes on the radio as hip-hop.
On that note...I'm going to see JAY-Z ON OCTOBER 27TH!!!!!! So much for retirement, Jigga man. I'm SOOOOO GLAD my tickets went for three times their value on ebay for the Black Album tour. I would feel like such an ass if I went considering I felt like I was there from my "Fade to Black" DVD AND I wouldn't have officially went to the "last Jay-Z concert". LOL...I saw him earlier this year at the Best of Both Worlds Tour...he stole the show! And I'm going to see him again....YAY!
I'm also going to see KANYE on November something. I'm excited about this, too considering I missed TWO appearances of his that I had tickets to. Fantasia (who I've been dying to see since she won AI), Common (another love of my life), and Keyshia Cole (HATED IT) will be there, too. I can't wait ;)
I just wish I could find me a nice cuddly teddy-bear (uh, the ferocious kind of teddy bear...I don't want a sissy-man!) who loves hip-hop as much as I do...and is smart, funny, and cute. *SIGH*
