Getting Ready for the Holidays

This will be my first year traveling during the holiday season. I'm looking forward to being pushed around by harried travelers, having the airlines lose my luggage, and having my flight delayed beyond normal reasoning. yay

My family is all coming here so I'm not doing much. I plan to read a lot, eat a lot, study some (yeah right) and sleep plenty... but I'm probably gonna be working a lot.

Can you make a eye shadow quad with your fav. colors that look good together in different ways. I love the Diana 2 quad. I love to mix it up. I also use the corally e/s color for blush. It just cuts down on the things to carry. I don't suggest you carry along the MSF, they crack so easily.

I have two eyeshadows in a quad, the other five or six are in a pot in the original box. I'm lazy and don't like to drive to the MAC store, so I buy pots from my closest counter and then I kinda don't want to depot anymore (too risky...lol)

Oh, I definitely will leave the MSFs at home. I found a new trick in Iman's makeup book: apply a rosy blush first when using bronzer to get it to show up more...so I'll try that ;)

Yes, please don't take all your makeup. I don't think you'll wear it that much to bring different looks... your idea of bringing one look along is very sound

I guess it doesn't make it any better that the NYC MTA (the people who run the subways & trains) just called a strike leaving millions of NYers without ways to get to work AND probably making the airport a huge fucking mess!
