As a born and raised Queens girl, I now 'get it' about Brooklyn. Why no matter where you go in the world, there's always somebody from Brooklyn. Why Brooklynites have so much pride in being from Brooklyn. I now know the difference between East New York, Cobble Hill, Park Slope, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Williamsburg, Flatbush, Red Hook, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn Heights, and Brownsville.
If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere! (So how come I haven't made it yet?)
