We went and picked up Dante at 4pm from the vets. He was and still is pretty drowsy. His teeth look amazing! They are so white and clean, not a speck of tartar on them. He had 2 top incisors removed and has stitches in his mouth that will dissolve on their own. I'm just so amazed at how great his teeth look now and the bad breath is gone too! I know he feels crappy right now but once he is all healed up I bet his mouth will feel great...no more rotten teeth :)
They gave me tramadol for pain and clavamox as the antibiotic and omg he hates the clavamox, it's going to be a fun 10 days giving it to him 2x a day :/ it's liquid too so even more of a pita to give cause he can easily spit it out.
I'm just SO glad he is okay and made it through the anesthesia okay.
I also took Zoe in as a walk in and had the doc check and express her anal glands. He said they were full but not impacted or infected. They looked normal to him. So I'm hoping that was the reason for all her licking. I've also stopped using the baby wipes to wipe her just in case that's the reason.
Zoe has also dropped several pounds since we started her doggie diet and more exercise. She use to be around 56 lbs which was overweight for her and she is now a healthy 49 :) I can tell a difference in her too. She doesn't limp after a long walk or play. I think the weight loss and the senior joint supplements are really helping. I'm so glad!
In other news. Only 10 days until my mom is here! I'm so excited and so scared all at the same time.
Also my friends should be moving here on the 19th! So long as their money is in their accounts by then. I'm very stoked about it!
Well I need to get the gliders fed and pick up a bit before I put Abby down for bed.
OH tomorrow walking dead is on! I can't wait!!!
