Hey, guys! =D Sorry it's taken me so long to update and read. I haven't followed anyone on livejournal since... July 8th. Sorry. =/ I can say that I've been a busy beaver! But! I've had time to check myspace every day, so... I'm a myspace whore. It's official. Don't judge me!
Okay, let's see. Most of you who have known me awhile know that I used to work at Pizza Hut in management--did that for four and a half years. Then did waitressing. Last you all knew was that I was working at Olive Garden. Well! I got a little sick of working there (my GM is a douche bag), so I actually went back to Pizza Hut. I find that somewhat amusing since I walked out on them a year or so ago. I guess they're desperate. Anyway, I'm not managing there. I'm just a cook/server/CSR/all the easy stuff. Downfall: WAY more hours. Good: WAY less stress. They balance out as of right now.
I think Chris has been doing a better job keeping up with you guys here, so I'm sure you all know we're at UWF. The FWB campus is very small and I'm only doing night classes. I hate night classes, by the way. Hate hate hate them. Three hours in once class, even if just once a week, is ridiculous. As if I'm not tired enough from my job! Now I'm in classes until almost 9 p.m. My eyes are drooping now as I type this. I work 9-8 tomorrow. Gotta love them long shifts!
Let's see, what else... we are taking Trenton (Chris' son) overnight every Wednesday. It's my one day off from school and work and I spend it with him--no regrets there, though. He's a doll.
We bought one of those light up pictures that makes noises. It's a waterfall. It's purty.
I'm taking Yoga classes! They're awesome. I love them. Anyone ever done Yoga? Like for REAL Yoga? Not "I can do Downward Facing Dog!" I thought that class was going to help me stretch because I am NOT flexible whatsoever. I figured why not? Stretch a little, hear some cool chanting/music, and relax and meditate... forget my troubles. Yeah, um... did you know that you sweat your ass off in Yoga? I am drenched and out of breath when we do our Sun Salutations. Not to mention most of the poses are very hard for me! I am bottom heavy and my hamstrings are tighter than a 10-year-old virgin. I hope this class helps.
So I eat the same amount of calories that I burn every day. Something like that. I need to lose weight. Yoga helps build strength and flexibility, among other things, but that isn't cardio or a diet for me. I need to eat less! There's no way I can fit running/biking/whatever into my schedule right now. It's so hectic! I barely have time to take a daily poop. That was exaggeration, sorry.
I have to get up early tomorrow, so I'm logging off. Maybe bed soon (it's only 9:30!). I'm tired.
