round 5 - themes
ROUND RULES:
- Icons must be made originally for this challenge, no prior work may be submitted.
- All work must be your own.
- Please make sure all icon images are viewable for all.
- Icons must fit the livejournal standard. under 40kb, 100x100px and in either .png, .gif or .jpg file format.
- When posting the finished 20 please leave 3 icon examples and a link to the icon post or lj-cut.
- Post the completed icons at once.
- The icon post must be unlocked until the winners have been posted.
- Don't submit your icons to this post.
- ALL entries are moderated which means that I have to accept the entry before it's made visible to the public.
- You can use the provided table to post your icons if you like. If you don't, still make sure that it is clear which icon was made for which theme.
- I will tag your entries for you, so no need to stress about that :)
- Completed 20 are due April, 24th midnight in your time zone.
- Sign-ups will remain open for the duration of the round HERE so feel free to jump in at any point :)

Everyone listed should have posting access. Let me know if any problems arise.
THEMES, CATEGORY and TABLE:
Themes:
Back - Interpret as you wish.
Black & White Negative Space - Icon must be completely black & white and have negative space *see examples below
Diagonal - Something must be diagonal in the icon. It can be the female, background or something else. *see examples below.
Emotion - Your female should show emotion on her face.
Face - Icon should be cropped in a way that makes your female's face the focal point of the icon.
Heart - Interpret as you wish.
Intense - Interpret as you wish.
Mirror - Interpret as you wish.
Promotional Picture - Your icon should use a promotional picture of your female. Ads/ tv/ movie/ music album promo pics etc. are all ok.
Sparkle - Your icon must have something sparkly in it.
Category:
Shades of a color - All five icons should represent distinctly different shades of one color. You can for example go from light to dark or make one icon cooler blue and another that has a bit of a purple tone in it, whatever you like really as long as each icon is different shade of the same overall color. *see examples below
