Wheek in Review
What a week! I had my last exam the night of Tuesday the 16th, and set about finding a last-minute home for Niles to avoid hauling him across the country.
Wednesday I moved him, and he was a huge hit at the SCA dance practice where the transfer occurred. I felt a bit guilty that people seemed more interested in Niles than in dancing...
Thursday the I began packing, ran errands and attended a function for my library school at Boston's "prestigious" Tiki Room. The bar tab and the free food both ran out before I got there (within less than an hour of opening) - not surprising considering their prices. I'm definitely going to push for a more economic place next semester. At $7.50-8.50 a drink (or $4+ for a beer), and $22 for each appetizer platter... you could get 2 pizzas and a pitcher of beer for that. But, I got lots of good face time with my crush.
Friday I continued running errands, and eventually left. The remainder of Friday as well as Saturday and Sunday were a Greyhound comedy of errors - a missing driver in Buffalo led to half-hour and hour long layovers being 3 and 4 hours. I got home Sunday afternoon and slept the rest of Sunday.
Monday I tried to go shopping, and ended up with a stomach virus instead. Tuesday, I finished shopping.
And now it's Wednesday again. My stomach is still angry and rumbly. Oy! Now I just have wrapping, laundry, cooking... oh yes, and sleep. Somewhere in there sleep.
