dyke march this saturday! (nyc)
This saturday the 23rd, starts at Bryant Park at 5pm. It's technically a protest march but all positive vibes. so you can bring signs, say whatever you gotta say. only women/trans can march, but bio men are welcome to cheer us on from the sidelines.
We also need marshals - what you're gonna be doing is basically blocking traffic, explaining to the demonstrators what's going on when necessary, acting as a buffer between demonstrators and hecklers/bystanders/police, making demonstrators feel safe/comfortable. If anyone's interested, meet us at the kiosk at Bryant Park at 4 on Saturday, and the ladies who are putting this awesome thing together will explain everything.
