Of course just as college starts up, Dean takes off to live the Supernatural life, until Sam jumps into Hell and Dean makes a pit stop in Smallville. (There's a lot more in this verse, this just covers Lana's part.)

Helter Skelter
Premise: A Supernatural crossover. Lana breaks up with Clark of her own free will and stays in Smallville. After what happened with Brainiac, Clark's disappearance and Chloe's arrest, so takes back her job at the Talon until she can manage to piece herself back together. There she meets Sam Winchester, who is searching for Lilith, and the two start dating. Ruby has plans of her own, and makes Lana an offer she can't refuse.
