last night was tons of fun. only thing that annoyed me was dredg. and the fact that mewithoutyou had such a short set. they were one of the best bands i've ever seen live. it was...hypnotic.
and of course, it was halloween, so everyone was dressed up, including the bands. i'm not exactly sure what mewithoutyou's singer was, but he had a bunny attached to his costume. their bassist was a tree and the drummer was a french maid. they were having such a good time and you could tell, so it made the show 10x better. when they started playing i just wanted them to do it all night. forget about the other bands.
but, alas, dredg came on to play. they were...okay, but honestly i couldn't tell one song from another. it kind of felt like they played one over and over again...or just one half hour song.
the blood brothers were crazed. they put on a really awesome show, though. everyone was having a shitload of fun. i loved it.
and of course, coheed. you could definitely tell they were who most everyone came to see. that was actually a little annoying, but i can get over it. bah. they did so awesome. played for an hour or so, left the stage, and then they came back for an encore. i figured they were going to play a song or two more...i was wrong. they played for another 35 minutes at least. so fucking sweet.
got lost again coming home, but i made it at last. oh, atl.
