back in london... its sooooo hot!!
Hey! soz its been awhile again!!! been having a mental busy time! and been at home too much without my computer, which i have missed very much. oh, but i do have a LJ client now! which is very cool. Neway, been really busy, drove up to the download festival!!!! had the most awesome time!!! saw all or most of 28 bands in total!! best was SOAD who played the funnest gig ive ever seen!!! the crowd were going mental and their music is just the weirdest crazyiest shit ive ever heard! aweseom!! Black sabbath also great! Ozzy is a god and a fucking nutter! he was awesome! Bullet for my Valentine, My Chemical Romance, The Used, Velvet Revolver and many many others graet that WE. PLus one of the most drunken and stoned WE's of my life!!!
things i found out:
1. that cheese does not go well with chocolate and jack danials in a pancake!!!!
2. that hash cookies are good!
3. vodka jelly in a shot glass is impossible to get out, but drunken dodgems is fun
4. we have to get a flag for our tent next time (being too stoned and drunk to actaully find it on many occasions)
5. that my fuel guage on my mini still doesnt work!! oh, and i almost lost the exhaust outside clares house!! it now has dents.. not good...
6. and that ribena is a really really good mixer.....
7. At a festival, 5 a side football never stays just 5 a side!! instead it turns into some sort of rugby footie wrestling hybrid... but one of the funniest things to watch!!!
it was one of the funnest festivals ive been too, and unlike other festivals, the music was by far the most important thing to everyone. It was all about the music, and it just rocked. So, same time next year then!!! even if i did feel a little bit dead at the end....
also, worked some, and now im back in london again.. yay! forest was a tad on the quiet side. Saw Audioslave last nite, very very good band, and the roughest mosh pit ive ever been in!! when rage against the machines 'Killing in the name of' came on with me 3 rows from the front, the place just erupted!!! was awesome even if i got bruises and hit in the face that many times, plus i lost a bracelet that someone gave to me that kinda meant a lot to me, so that was sad. And 2day i spent taking photos in black and white in camden, shame i have to wait till next term to be able to work on them, and sat in regents back for 4 hours or so reading and writing. london is so beautiful in the summer, u wouldnt think it, but it is. I just love seeing all the ppl being so happy and not miserable all the time!!
oh, and im getting really excited about malaysia now!!! me, john and pau-lynn (i spelt that rite yeah?)!! Gonna be crazy malaysian drunken travelling fun!!
