Wow, I cannot *believe* how long it's been since I updated...
Life at Swarthmore is *sooo* cool! I love my classes so much, even though I probably spent 15 + hours revising my Jane Austen essay over the weekend. Besides that, Jane Austen is probably the coolest class in the *ENTIRE WORLD!!!!* anyways, so I didn't mind all that much! My other classes are awesome as well--I especially love my Russian class; it's taught by two profs, one who's from Russia, and the other who brings her guitar to class on Fridays so we can all sing Russian folk songs.
Other than that, I've got swing dance class every Monday-- AWESOMENESS!!!! I'm probably going to go into Philly this Friday for a swing dance club, which should be fun. I'm also looking forward to College Day this Sunday, when I get free admission to the Rodin Museum...WOOT!!
My room, roommate, hall/hallmates, neighbors, etc, etc, are all the coolest thing since sliced bread, and I really couldn't be happier with the whole dorm set-up...although I wouldn't say no to air conditioning. I miss NY weather.
The process of cutting the apron ties isn't moving along as speedily as I might have hoped, but is progressing as anticipated. All of you people from home--give me a call!! 9 out of 10 calls I get are from my mom, and the other call is from a Ms. Turan who thinks that I'm affiliated with Sears Home Appliances and would really like for me to come over and take a look at her dishwasher. I feel bad, so I've tried calling her back to tell her she probably doesn't want me within a ten foot radius of her dishwasher considering my track record, but her line is always busy.
