Zoe will be happy when she's done with her community service; it will give her more time to go out and explore Eureka, looking for another door to Milliways. She enjoys going there and, as much as she likes SARAH, she would like to be able to go without supervision. Especially so she can hang out with X in her home world. She's pretty sure that her dad will never allow that.
Problem is, she has no idea what a door to Milliways would look like. So she's stuck wandering around town and tugging on random doors. She's gotten a few weird looks, but no one has given her a hard time yet.
After spending a few hours with Eugenia, she stops at Cafe Diem for a milkshake. People are still talking about the weapon of mass destruction debacle. Zoe's surprised; it's been two weeks already. Weird things happen so often in this town that she doesn't understand why people have to keep harping on this one. She really hates hearing over and over about how her father risked his life to save the world.
She leaves her milkshake unfinished and decides to head home. Lost in thought, she's not really paying close attention to her surroundings, but she catches a glint of something out of the corner of her eye. She stops walking and looks over, trying to remember if that door has always been there. It's really shiny and seems out of place somehow.
Curious, Zoe walks over and tugs it open. She shuts it immediately when she realizes that it's a door to Milliways. After a furtive glance to make sure no one else is on the street and paying attention, she opens the door again. Yup, the bar is still there. This is the best thing ever.
She closes the door, deciding that she's going to go home, change into something more appropriate and come back so she can spend a few hours at Milliways.
A few steps later, she sees another door. Frowning, she opens it and realizes that it also goes to Milliways. Weird. She closes that door and immediately spots about a dozen more that seem to appear out of nowhere.
Now she's a tiny bit freaked by all the doors. Maybe SARAH has an explanation.
----
SARAH has theories. Scenarios. The last thing she has right now is an explanation.
Through her trips to Milliways, there had been attempts at understanding what triggers her transportation to the end of the universe and back again at the same time when she left. The only clue she has found so far is residual electrical fluctuation surrounding her when she returns, just for a millisecond.
The rads are well within normal, Fargo continues to reassure everyone who might notice.
The problem here, of course, is that Eureka manages to involve itself in a great deal of electrical fluctuation at great regularity.
In keeping an eye on Zoe after the firing of the ionosphere particle beam, trying to be as unobtrusive as possible since nobody trusts a prying house, SARAH starts to detect the same kinds of electrical fluctuation present when she returns from Milliways.
And she's detecting it everywhere.
SARAH immediately calls Sheriff Carter to tell him of her suspicions.

There may be a problem.
SARAH is nothing if not capable of multi-tasking.
