I made chicken soup and after tasting it i had this suddenly emotion where i REALLY missed the leong family pink soup bowl. hahahaha omg! this bowl has been with us for like, god knows how many house moves (it will survive our next one) and we use this pink bowl for like, all our soups. hahaha and dad uses it to have his midnight instant noodles sometimes. its damn old and damn ugly (i love pink, but this shade of pink is like hospital pink) and i never appreciated this thing but now i do.
i wna be a mum some day and have a family, and when i do, i'll have a particular bowl for my family and make soup in it every night. soup is something that sucks if you have it alone in a small bowl.. nobody boils a small bowl of soup, we boil a POT of soup because its meant to be shared between 4-5 ppl.. a family :) the nature of soup is that u need a ton of useless tasteless ingredients (that is, until its boiled for hours) that is not economical unless its boiled in a pot for everyone. its not like, steak or eggs where its okay to cook for one person. its a group thing and when everyone's together around a steamboat or hotpot filled with soup and having good conversation.. :')
